The first breath of cool air arrived today and we started thinking about our Fall Class Schedule and how to get you all psyched to come inside.

Ocean Water Workouts with Alex

Water camp will consist of low impact exercises done right in the ocean at second beach! We'll do some great workouts using the water as our mode of resistance, as well as some concentration on stroke technique and efficiency. Come cool off and join Alex in the water for a different kind of workout you'll love!

This summer try Alex's water camp! Specialty class being held Friday July 27th at 6:30am and Sunday July 29th at 7am – Sign up in the Specialty Class Section of our website. Starting August 5th - you can get in on the whole series of classes - 7 sessions for 99.00 or 14 sessions for 199 but we will still allow walk ins if it doesn't sell out. There is no better deal around and no better place to beat the heat and get a great cardio workout. Alex is also available for private swim lessons if you are interested in increasing your swim times for any of the upcoming races. Contact

Swimming credentials: Alex swam competitively for 14 years, starting out at the Newport Wahoos and the Rams Swimming Club. Her high school career was spent at Rogers High School, being first and second team all-state, a state record holder, as well as a Rogers High School record holder of numerous events within her four years spent there. She then went to a scholarship career at the University of Rhode Island, being voted a captain her senior year. Within her four years there she was a part of the Atlantic 10 team, a varsity letter holder, and a varsity record holder. She also has competed in open water swims such as the Swim Across America and the Tuesday Night Athletic Foundation open water swims
