Jacki Lane
Jacki Lane is an original founder and the current owner of Pulse Newport and Bellevue Barre Studios.  She has been involved in the fitness industry in some form since 1986, when she first became certified by AFAA to teach Aerobics.  Over 20 years, she has added certifications in Group Exercise & Personal Training from AFAA, Spinning™,  Aquatic Exercise (AEA), CoreBarre™and RIPPED™.  Her specialty - GETTING MORE OUT OF THE HOUR.  Combined workouts, cardio & conditioning and creativity at ALL TIMES.  She has worked with clients of all ages and abilities, and can modify for any issues and injuries in most classes/camps.  Jacki is a mom of three - and knows how important working out is for her mom-clients bodies, and  their minds.  A favorite quote from a camper ~ "I needed to burn off some energy, now I can be nice to my kids all day!"  She developed the FitCamp concept in 2005 and worked with many trainers on the island to help them run similar programs.  She has also written a training manual on how to teach FitCamp and currently sells it across the country.  She'll keep her fingers on the 'pulse' by traveling across the country as fitness trends develop, put her Pulse spin on them, and bring those trends to you.  You can reach her directly at  jacki@pulsenewport.com



Kathy Martin is an original founder of Pulse Newport. She is a lifelong sports, fitness and outdoors enthusiast – who perhaps missed her calling as a Marine Corps. Drill instructor J, Kathy has been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years. After training clients one on one for many of those years, she has discovered that Bootcamp/FItcamp training is where she belongs. Kathy holds certifications in AFFA Personal Training, Group Exercise, Yoga, Pilates and Kickboxing.  Kathy is also a Star 2 Spinning Instructor who has run health club level spinning programs. Along with spending her off hours and weekends traveling and watching her daughter play premier soccer; her most rewarding moments are spent leading classes and specialized bootcamps using high intensity workouts that challenge her clients to the core. She has developed her clients, beginning and moderate exercisers, to highly competitive athletes. Chris Lane
Chris Lane is ISSA Certified, focuses on strength and bodybuilding with just enough cardio to keep the fat off but not risk muscle tapping fatigue.  Recently, Chris has added his RIPPED Certification (www.rippedusa.com) and teaches group classes in his own style for maximum cardio conditioning and calorie burn.  He can be reached directly at (401) 662-1875 or at clane1875@gmail.com



Tessa Hollyn Taub -
After playing Division I Collegiate Tennis for four years, Tessa continued to pursue her passion for fitness. Complementing her desire to help people reach their life goals while inspiring them to fall in love with being active has opened the door to a wonderful career as a master trainer, fitness instructor and health coach. Whether it is her high-intensity spin, functional weight training or hardcore abdominal classes, she loves to use challenging combinations of endurance and fitness, aerobic and anaerobic training which will leave you breathlessly in delight. She shares her infectious enthusiasm mixed with motivational tunes, which enables you to climb hills and meet personal goals you never thought possible! Tessa believes that your workouts translate to your success in everyday life. She holds a certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), Corrective Exercise Specialty, Neuromuscular Stretch cert, Senior Fit, YogaFit, TRX, Mad Dogg Athletics (Spinning). In addition, Tessa received her nutrition training from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition earning accreditation from The American Association of

Hillary Davidson - Hillary has always enjoyed an active lifestyle along with an appreciation for healthy food – she worked on sailing yachts as a chef for several years, which enabled her to combine her enthusiasm for food and outdoor activities. She is a PADI certified scuba diver, sailor, avid paddle boarder and runner. After settling in Newport and having children she refocused her exercise to a more discipled regimen.  Because of her natural ability to connect with individuals and desire to help people achieve their goals she decided to pursue a career in fitness. Kyle Borsare What started out as a means of losing weight turned into a lifestyle change. That is the key to becoming and staying strong & fit. It is a shift that takes place in your life, you go from “I have to workout”, a chore. To “I can’t wait to workout”, a pleasure!  The natural progression was to become a personal trainer.
